Bipasha: 'I can't imagine working as a model'

Bollywood siren Bipasha Basu may have cut a fabulous figure as she glided down the ramp in a glittering red gown this weekend, but did you know that beneath the dazzling smile lurked a fear that she might trip on her high heels?

"I get very nervous before walking the ramp and always feel that I may trip on the catwalk. The fact is, I have not gotten used to high heels. I am more your sneakers kind of girl. Thank God that I am an actor and not still into modelling," said Basu in an interview with tabloid!.

In town for an exclusive Standard Chartered event, the 31-year-old was on a stronger footing while talking about her latest shopping expedition in Dubai.

"I had a tiring but fruitful shop-till-you-drop day. I am currently shopping for John's [Abraham, her boyfriend] new home. I was really into cutlery shopping today."

Though it is difficult to picture Basu wielding a knife, she proved she is a consummate all-rounder.
