Polite George
George Wassouf has signed a contract with production company Rotana, who will manage the singer's activities and produce his albums. Wassouf, who visited the office in Beirut to sign the contract, surprised the employees when he greeted each and every one of them personally. He also took time to take pictures with a little boy who was passing by when he left.
New Album
Tamer Husni is preparing to launch a new album titled Arrab Kaman. Seven of the 14 songs in the album have been written and composed by him, while two have been co-written with producer Nasr Mahrous.

Nawal Al Zughbi has a full schedule this summer with concerts in Monaco, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and Malaysia. The Lebanese singer has recently completed shooting a clip for a song from her latest album, Leih Musta'alak.
Emotional Majed
Majed Al Muhades cried on the TV programme Kalimat Fasl, which airs on Rotana TV, when hostess Jumana Bu Eid telephoned his only son, Mohammad, who lives in France with his mother and put him through. The Iraqi singer cried when his son said, "I miss you, Papa!"

Shireen finally answered the question that's been on her fans' minds. Why does her latest album only contain two new songs? The Egyptian singer reveals that she was very busy with the pregnancy and birth of her first daughter, Mariam. And as she didn't want to put off the new album for too long, she released it with only two new songs.

Elissa, Amr Diab, Abdullah Ruwaished and Mohammad Hammaqi have announced that they will not participate in the Jordan Summer Festival, which is supposed to take place later this month, if it is proved that the organisers had earlier organised an event in Israel, something that they have repeatedly denied.
