Knot just yet
Nancy Ajram has denied rumours that she will marry before the end of this year. The singer did not, however, deny rumours that she was seeing a handsome dentist. She said that the wedding would not take place this year and added that she would let everyone know when the couple did decide to tie the knot.

Hakami banned from Kuwaiti TV
Recently, singer Ebrahim Al Hakami was banned from appearing on Kuwait TV after the station, along with many other channels, received a circular from Future TV reminding them that Hakami, winner of the Super Star talent quest, is bound by contract to seek permission from Future TV before appearing on any other channel.

Alameh's predicament
Ragheb Alameh has said he was very upset with the withdrawal of his latest album from the Kuwaiti market over a copyright dispute concerning one of the songs. He said he acquired the necessary permissions from the writer's family. But it turned out that they had sold the rights to a Kuwaiti production company earlier, something which Alameh claims he had no knowledge of.

Sabah Obaid resigns
Sabah Obaid, head of the Syrian Syndication of Artists, who banned many famous artistes from performing in Syria, has resigned. The banned singers, including Haifa Wehbe, Elissa, Maria and Dana, were described by Obaid as indecent. The singers could not hide their joy on hearing the news.
