Diana Haddad, who was in Kuwait to address a press conference has denied that there was a move to ban her presence in the Emirate because of an inappropriate dress code. Following the conference, Haddad was also the guest for an FM radio show called Lail wa Nujoom (Night and Stars), in the city.

Haifa Wehbi is promoting awareness on breast cancer. The Lebanese singer has her photograph in a new book titled Breast Friends that has photographs of 30 famous people including Jerry Hall, Rosanna Arquette and Ronan Keating.
