The blacklist grows longer
Elissa has announced that she will no longer work with Salim or Saeed Al Marouq as the two directors have publicly criticised her.
The Lebanese singer says she is not willing to work with people who do not respect her. Elissa's blacklist is growing longer with composer Jan Saliba - her first and biggest supporter-turned-enemy - on the list.
Not quits yet
Nancy Ajram has denied circulating rumours that she has separated from her business manager Jiji Lamara. The Lebanese singer and Jiji warned that if the creator of these rumours were identified, they would take legal action against him.
Split true and final
Hanan Turk has got a divorce from Khaled Khatab. The Egyptian actress and her husband have been married for 10 years and have children.
Turk says the divorce was not related to her wearing the Hijab, but to personal problems that she would
not disclose.
Celeb guest
Latifa announced that she will appear as a guest star in the television drama series Lahathat Harija (Awkward Moments). The Tunisian singer will be seen alongwith stars like Yusra and Muna Zaki. The series will be shown on the Dubai satellite television channel soon.
Still in the open
Muna Zaki has denied rumours that she has begun wearing a Hijab recently. While attending the closing ceremony of the International Cairo Cinema Festival, the Egyptian actress welcomed the opportunity to be photographed by the media at the event without the traditional Muslim attire.
