Rohit Basore, who appeared in the third season of Manoj Bajpayee’s popular series The Family Man, was found dead near Garbhanga Waterfalls in Guwahati on April 27th afternoon, police confirmed.

According to police sources, Rohit had gone for a picnic with nine colleagues when he reportedly slipped and fell into the waterfall. Officials from the Rani Police Outpost stated that the incident occurred around 2 p.m.
Speaking to Guwahati Plus, police said, “We received the report around 4 p.m. and reached the spot by 4:30 p.m. The SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) team recovered the body around 6:30 p.m."
Preliminary investigations suggest Rohit’s fall was accidental, and authorities have not found any signs of foul play so far. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and further investigations are ongoing.
