Machaalani's stalker finally behind bars.

An Egyptian lawyer has been sentenced to three years in jail for harassing Lebanese singer Pascale Machaalani and threatening to kill her. It all began when Pascale was performing at a concert. Following the concert, some fans approached her for photographs, and the lawyer was among them. He followed her to Lebanon and kept chasing and threatening her until he was deported by the Lebanese authorities about a year ago, but that did not stop the obsessed man from pursuing the star.
The lawyer set up a website to talk about his love for the singer and claimed that Pascale was his wife and mother of his son, although she is single. He also threatened her manager, Melhem Abu Shedid and claimed that some Lebanese politicians were standing between him and Pascale. The sentence put an end to a story that began eight years ago.
