DUBAI: UAE Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri discussed the future of bilateral economic and industrial ties with senior Russian government officials on the sidelines of the Innoprom Industrial Exhibition recently.
Al Mansouri was leading a UAE delegation to the exhibition in Yekaterinberg. The two sides considered enhancing ties in transformative industries, petrochemicals and aluminium, advanced technologies, and the fields of innovation, scientific research, renewable energy, agriculture and food.
Al Mansouri highlighted the importance of healthy economic and trade relations between the two countries, and said their non-oil trade was reaching high levels, including a record $2.1 billion in commercial exchange in 2016.
