Movenpick appoints Olivier Chavy as CEO

Dubai: Olivier Chavy, a veteran of the hospitality industry with 28 years’ experience in hotel operations and brand management, has been named as chief executive of Movenpick Hotels and Resorts.

Chavy has operating experience including hotel openings on three different continents. He served as International Head, Global Brand Performance of Luxury & Lifestyle Brands for Hilton Worldwide.

His current role is president and chief executive of Wilson Associates, a global interior architectural design firm. Jean-Gabriel Peres, whose departure was announced early in the year, will support the transition in leadership to Chavy.
