Dubai will welcome more than 540,000 Chinese visitors by 2023, an increase of 97 per cent over ten years, according to the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

IHG released figures in a statement on Monday based on their recently published report on the Future of Chinese Travel that was produced in partnership with Oxford Economics.

The report also showed that Abu Dhabi is expected to see over 177,000 Chinese visitors by 2023, a 300 per cent increase on the 44,000 in 2013.
