ADNOC and TotalEnergies bring UAE-made Voyager lubricants to retail outlets in Egypt
Dubai: Mobility retailer ADNOC Distribution, in partnership with TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt (TEME), launched ADNOC Voyager lubricants nationwide in Egypt - a major milestone in the brand’s regional expansion.
For the first time, ADNOC Voyager products will be available through third-party retailers across the country, broadening accessibility beyond select outlets and e-commerce platforms.
Produced at a blending facility in Borg El Arab, ADNOC Voyager lubricants exceed international technical standards and are trusted in over 47 countries worldwide.
Eng. Bader Saeed Al Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, highlighted the importance of this expansion: “Our partnership with TotalEnergies deepens ADNOC’s regional footprint and aligns with sustainable growth and innovation priorities.”
Since acquiring a 50% stake in TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt in 2023, ADNOC Distribution has actively pursued growth beyond the Gulf, targeting Egypt’s substantial fuel retail and mobility market. With nearly 3,000 points of sale targeted by 2026, the move positions ADNOC as a key player in North Africa’s largest customer base and mobility sector.
Thomas Strauss, Managing Director and Country Chair of TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt, emphasized the collaboration’s strength: “Manufacturing locally in Borg El Arab ensures customers benefit from reliable, top-tier lubricants. Our joint venture exemplifies how two energy leaders can innovate and raise industry standards while building a sustainable supply chain tailored to Egypt’s market needs.”
The official launch at Cairo’s historic Abdeen Palace saw participation from prominent figures including Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Eng. Karim Badawy, alongside senior executives from ADNOC Distribution and TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt. The event introduced the “Voyager: Powering Your Everyday Performance” campaign, spotlighting the product’s superior protection, efficiency, and reliability.
ADNOC Voyager’s portfolio serves automotive, industrial, and marine sectors, holding over 180 international OEM approvals and certifications from API and JASO.
Egypt, with a lubricants market exceeding 450 kilotonnes annually, represents a growth opportunity fueled by ongoing national development projects and a rising auto manufacturing industry.
This collaboration not only reinforces Egypt’s industrial growth but also exemplifies how strategic joint ventures can support regional economic diversification and sustainable energy ambitions.
