Farnek wins contract for MEP works at IMG Worlds of Adventure
The theme park opens in Dubai in August
Dubai, UAE: Farnek, a UAE-based total facilities management company, said on Sunday that it has been awarded an initial 15-month mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) contract for IMG Worlds of Adventure, an indoor theme park opening in Dubai next month.
The contract, which will start immediately, entails MEP maintenance of the full IMG Worlds of Adventure site that spans 1.5 million square feet, including the food and beverage, retail and cinema areas.
Located within City of Arabia, along Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, IMG Worlds of Adventure will feature more than 20 rides and attractions based around Marvel and Cartoon Network characters and dinosaurs, as well as a 12-screen Novo Cinemas, 28 food and beverage and 25 retail outlets. The park has four themed zones in total, including Cartoon Network, Marvel, IMG Boulevard and the Lost Valley-Dinosaur Adventure.
