Eathos acquires sushi restaurant chain SushiArt

Dubai: Dubai-based restaurant operator eathos has acquired sushi restaurant chain SushiArt, it said in a statement on Tuesday. It did not disclose how much it paid for the purchase.

Eathos has the franchise rights for Kababji Grill, Tortilla Mexican Grill and Rita’s Ice. SushiArt’s co-founder Cedric Cerf will remain on the management team, according to the statement.

The restaurant operator will take over operational management and push ahead with plans to expand in the UAE (to Motor City) and across the Gulf region, starting with Saudi Arabia.
