BASF’s Construction Chemicals division launched on Monday a new regional development laboratory at Dubai Science Park, a special zone.

In a statement, the company said that the laboratory opening was in line with BASF Construction Chemicals’ drive to expand its global research and development infrastructure for the construction industry, and to reinforce its commitment to regional customers.

The laboratory will develop products that are tailored to the “challenging climatic conditions,” BASF’s statement said, adding it would focus on technologies that improve the performance of concrete and construction materials.
