ACC wins Dh690m deal to build world's tallest residential tower

Dubai: Arabian Construction Company (ACC) has secured a Dh690 million contract to construct the 107-storey Princess Tower claimed to be the world's tallest residential tower at Dubai Marina.

Sitting on a large 3,500 square metre plot in Dubai Marina, the Princess Tower will rise 414 metres with a total built-up area of 170,000 square metres. When complete the building will contain 750 luxury residential apartment units of two, three and four bedrooms along with duplex villas and penthouses. The Princess Tower is expected to replace the 323 metre tall Q1 Tower on the Gold Coast of Australia as the world's tallest all-residential building.

The developer of this project is Sharjah-based Tameer Holdings.

"We thank Tameer for entrusting us with their signature project, which we commit to deliver to the highest standards, in line with ACC's recognised code of practice," said Hassan Auji general manager of ACC Dubai.

ACC has been associated with a number of other high-rise buildings in Dubai.
