UAE Insurance Authority, Korean Financial Supervisory Service sign MoU

ABU DHABI: The Insurance Authority (IA) of the UAE, the Financial Services Commission, FSC, and the Financial Supervisory Service, FSS, of South Korea, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The MoU aims to promote and strengthen the relationship between the two countries and to develop cooperation in the field of insurance. The agreement was signed by Ebrahim Obaid Al Zaabi, IA’s Director-General, Seung Beom Koh, FSC Secretary-General, and JongKu Choi, FSS First Senior Deputy Governor, in the presence of Kwon Hae-Ryong, the Korean Ambassador in the country. The Korean officials stressed the significance of the MoU, noting that it offers an opportunity for enhancing and promoting cooperation in the financial and insurance areas between both countries.
