Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) said yesterday it is participating in the International Energy Symposium in Riyadh under the auspices of Saudi Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of the Interior.
The function commemorates the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries' (Opec) 50th anniversary.
Adnoc was keen take part as a sponsor and participant in the symposium .
The Adnoc pavilion was visited by Ali Al Nuaimi, Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Salman, Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs; Abdullah Al Badri, Opec Secretary General, and a number of Saudi ministers and senior officials.
Visitors
The visiting delegation was welcomed by Mohammad Al Shamma, Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (Adma-Opco)'s public relations manager, and the Adnoc team.
Al Shamma briefed the visitors about Adnoc's operations, highlighting its role in developing human resources, environment and sustainable development.
Al Shamma added that the Adnoc Petroleum Institute, schools and training centres maintain high standards and are keeping pace with world-class educational institutions.
He stressed that Adnoc is dedicated to preserving nature and maintaining a clean environment by adopting high standards and creating a sense of competition.
