King’s College Hospital London Dubai recently achieved accreditation from SRC as a Centre of Excellence in Endoscopy. This accreditation recognizes King’s Dubai’s commitment and high standard of delivery of quality patient care and safety.

Status as an accredited Centre of Excellence in Endoscopy means that King’s College Hospital London Dubai has met nationally and internationally recognized standards.

Dr Farooq Khan, Consultant Hepatologist, Gastroenterologist & Interventional Endoscopist at King’s Dubai, has also been accredited as Endoscopist of Excellence by SRC.

Endoscopy Team at King’s Dubai

Dr Regina C. Will is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with a broad spectrum and holistic and compassionate approach. She covers the entire area of gastroenterology and hepatology. She studied at the Medical school Hamburg/ Germany, and then underwent an extensive and broad clinical education in internal medicine, including training in accident and emergency, advanced ultrasound and intensive care, and consecutively, in gastroenterology. She holds “Facharzt” (equivalent to board membership/ member of a royal college) both in Internal medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr Kaiser Raja is a Consultant in Liver Diseases, Transplant Hepatology, Gastroenterology & Advanced Endoscopy and Gastroenterology. He trained in medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology from one the most reputable medical institutions in India, the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. He followed that with an Advanced Fellowship in Liver Diseases and Transplant Hepatology from the Mount Sinai Medical Centre in New York.

Dr Farooq Khan is a UK-trained Consultant with vast knowledge and expertise in the field of Hepatology & Interventional Endoscopy. He was trained in Trent GI programme and completed Liver Transplant training at St. James Hospital Leeds. He has also completed a fellowship in Advance Endoscopy and performs interventional endoscopic procedures like ERCP, Spyglass, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), EMR (endoscopic Mucosal resection) ESD (Endoscopic submucosal dissection) as well as Endobariatric procedures including Endoscopic Sleeve. He’s also amongst first ones to start Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for the treatment of Barrett’s oesophagus and Radiation Proctitis. This, in addition to endoscopic procedures to treat patients with rare conditions Achalasia and Gastroparesis, makes him quite unique in offering variety of minimally invasive endoscopic procedures under one roof.

Dr Yaser El-Gazzar is a UK-trained Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with more than 25 years’ experience in the field of Gastroenterology, hepatology and endoscopy. He was trained in Birmingham University Hospitals and completed his MD/ PhD research in Liver Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital which is one of the most reputable Liver Units in the world with the highest number of Liver Transplantation in UK.

He has been a senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at Queen Mary University of London Medical School. He has performed more than 30000 endoscopy procedures for both upper & lower GI for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
