Dubai: The International Promoters Association (IPA), a prominent Malayali business network in the UAE, held its annual general meeting at the Millennium Plaza Hotel in Dubai. Themed 'Let's Take Off,' the event marked a significant milestone with the unanimous election of Riyaz Kilton as the new Chairman of IPA for the next two years, ushering in a dynamic new chapter for this prestigious organisation.

Ayub Kallada was elected Vice Chairman, Yunus Thanal took over as Convenor and Shaji Narikolly as Treasurer. The program was led by  CA Shihab Thangal and Muneer Al Wafa, and Rafeek Al Mayar welcomed the gathering.

The meeting also elected the Director Board and Executive members to lead IPA's future endeavours. The Director Board members include Haris Kattakath, Kabeer Telcon, Nagaraj Rau (Bhima Jewellery), Biby John UBL, and Nousheer Nray.

Executive members elected include Feroz Abdullah, Ahsan, Anwar Manamkandath, Faisal Ibrahim, Baiju Tokyo, and Farhan Akthar.

The new Chairman, Riyaz Kilton, shared a transformative vision for IPA, stating that the organisation will actively expand into new areas, foster stronger business ties, and open more avenues for collaboration and growth.

IPA's founders, A K Faisal and Shafi Al Murshidi emphasised that new projects will be formulated to empower Malayali business people and energise entrepreneurial activities.

Over 200 entrepreneurs, including past Chairmen of IPA, attended the event and congratulated the new leadership. The gathering highlighted the importance of business networks and collective growth through cooperation and information sharing.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Board member Shaji Narikolly.
