The Iker Casillas Goalkeeper Training Centre is established in partnership with fellow former player Michel Salgado's football academy Fursan Hispania FC. The training centre is not limited to budding goalkeepers but is also for established clubs and goalkeeping coaches.
An official press conference by Iker Casillas Academy was held on 8th September 2021 at Dubai Sports Council regarding the academy in Dubai for the development of goalkeepers with their profound training methodology. Saeed Hareb, the secretary-general of Dubai Sports Council was present at the event.
