UAE central bank, Union Pay International of China sign agreement

Abu Dhabi: The Central Bank of the UAE announced on Sunday it has signed an agreement with Union Pay International, the electronic switch in China, for linking with UAESwitch. The agreement will launch the use of Union Pay cards at all ATMs connected to the UAESwitch.

According to the deal, UnionPay card holders will be able to access over 4,800 ATMs in the UAE, and is part of efforts to increase cooperation with China as more Chinese tourists visit the UAE.
