Commercial Bank of Dubai appoints new CFO

Dubai: Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) on Sunday announced the appointment of Darren Clarke as the bank’s new Chief Financial Officer. Previously, Clarke was CFO for National Australia Bank (NAB) Asia, based in Singapore, and worked at NAB for 13 years. He was also the CFO for Global Markets & Treasury, the bank said in a statement. Prior to that, Clarke worked for JPMorgan Chase in the UK, Luxembourg and Hong Kong. He is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
