Aviation event targets attracting more women to sector

Dubai: International women leaders from the aviation industry will convene at the second Women in Aviation General Assembly on May 15 to promote higher participation of women in the Middle East’s aviation sector.

The event will help connect professionals in the aviation sector with government and private companies that are keen on hiring more women.

With women accounting for over 60 per cent of Arab countries’ science, technology, engineering, and mathematics graduates, the forum is taking measures to enhance their participation in the region’s growing aviation sector.
