1. Gina Rinehart – US$29 billion

Iron ore magnate Gina Rinehart topped has taken out the top spot on the list every year since the Financial Review Rich Women List was published in 2021. The chair of Hancock Prospecting, Rinehart maintains her position as Australia's wealthiest individual. Despite a 4% decline in her wealth, she continues to invest in energy assets and advocates for industrial policies favouring the mining sector.

2. Harry Triguboff – US$18.8 billion

Founder of Meriton Group, property tycoon Triguboff has reclaimed the second spot, driven by the strong demand for rental housing in Australia.

3. Mike Cannon-Brookes – US$18.3 billion

Co-founder of Atlassian, Cannon-Brookes has seen significant gains, adding over $4 billion to his wealth as shares of the software firm surged.

4. Scott Farquhar – US$17.9 billion

Also a co-founder of Atlassian, Farquhar's wealth has similarly increased, reflecting the company's strong performance in the tech sector.

5. Andrew Forrest – US$16.1 billion

Founder of Fortescue Metals Group, Forrest's wealth has decreased due to a significant drop in the company's stock value.

8. Melanie Perkins & Cliff Obrecht – US$9.4 billion

Co-founders of Canva, the couple has amassed significant wealth through their graphic design platform's global success.
