ATM Dubai 2025: Arabic-speaking AI cabin crew now at your service

Dubai: Qatar Airways has unveiled an upgraded version of its AI-powered digital cabin crew, Sama, now equipped with Arabic language capabilities, at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai 2025.

The digital human cabin crew can now understand Arabic dialects and respond fluently in Modern Standard Arabic, enabling travellers across the region to interact naturally and seamlessly.

At the airline’s stand, Sama engaged with visitors by assisting with flight bookings, offering destination recommendations, and providing information about the airline’s products and services through real-time, intuitive conversations.

Sama, first introduced in English at last year’s ATM, was developed to support passengers with travel planning, itinerary suggestions, and airline information using AI technology. The AI conversational experience is now available through the official website.
