SABIC head re-elected as GPCA Chairman

Abu Dhabi: The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) announced on Tuesday the re-election of Yousuf Al Benyan as its chairman for another three-year term.

Al Benyan who is also the Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) was elected as GPCA chairman in May 2016, having previously served on the GPCA’s executive committee.

A new board of directors was also announced during GPCA’s Annual General Assembly which took place on March 5 in Dubai, according to a statement.
