Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, visited the premises of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) on Sunday.
They underlined the importance of continuing work on diversification of economy based on the UAE’s strengths and expertise in key sectors such as energy, and adopt forward thinking methods that predict the future to ensure growth and prosperity and strengthen the UAE’s stature among the globally developed nations. They also reaffirmed their pride in faithful Emiratis who embrace the concepts of leadership, excellence and innovation to strengthen the UAE’s competitive position on the global stage.
Both Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed toured the main building of Adnoc where they were briefed on the company’s future strategy that aims to achieve smart growth through investment in human capital, improving performance, boosting efficiency and enhancing value and economic returns.
Culture of performance
They were updated on the vision adopted by Adnoc as one of the main drivers of development and prosperity in the UAE through the optimal investment in human resources and natural resources. They were also introduced to Adnoc’s message focused on adopting a culture of performance and supporting innovation and investment in human resources to enhance the value of natural resources and the current and future energy needs.
“The UAE, under leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, continues to look ahead and design the future, build its human resources and lay solid foundations for a strong economy that ensures growth and prosperity. The UAE moves ahead to contribute strongly and positively in the development of human civilisation,” Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid said.

He said that proper and clear planning, supported by sincere and sustained efforts, will always yield good results. The Vice President expressed his delight over Adnoc’s young Emirati cadres and its long-term future planning represented in setting ambitious goals.
Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid emphasised the need for more young capabilities and forward thinking strategies in all institutions and work sites. He praised Adnoc’s initiatives to expand the scope of strategic partnerships and create new joint investment opportunities to achieve an additional values and enhance future growth in promising sectors.
