Dubai: Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group, opened the 2016 Water, Energy, Technology Exhibition (Wetex) in Dubai on Monday.
Shaikh Ahmad, accompanied by Dubai Water & Electricity Authority managing director and chief executive Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, Matar Al Neyadi, Undersecretary of Energy, and other officials, toured the exhibition held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The 18th edition of Wetex is expected to attract nearly 2,000 exhibitors from 46 countries. It runs until October 6.
The show is being held alongside the World Green Economy Summit and the first ever Dubai Solar Show.
