Abu Dhabi: Adnoc’s 64-floor head office was inaugurated yesterday by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Vice-President of the Supreme Petroleum Council.

The 342-metre building is located near the company’s previous building on Abu Dhabi Corniche road.

Shaikh Mohammad inaugurated the new building by turning on the production valve of an oil well and then watched a film explaining the various stages of processing oil.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi began his tour by visiting the “Adnoc++” floor, which introduces a new concept for creating a conducive environment that motivates employees for innovation and excellence. The Adnoc++ is distinguished by its innovative design that promotes innovation and positivity culture.

The floor also features a heritage corner and brainstorming rooms.

Shaikh Mohammad engaged in talks with Adnoc employees and said that they are a key engine for spreading the culture of affirmative action plan and the concepts of collective work as well as the spirit of teamwork.

Use of space

Touring the building’s various floors, Shaik Mohammad was briefed on the course of daily work and he expressed his satisfaction at the optimal use of the building’s spaces.

Shaikh Mohammad stressed the importance of adhering to the work culture that is based on increasing productivity and improving performance.
