Dewa awards Aweer power station contract
International advisory services awarded in July, Dewa says

Dubai: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) announced on Sunday that it awarded a contract in July for “international advisory services” to develop the fourth phase of the Aweer Power Station ‘H.’
The Aweer power station project “aims to test, supply, and install three gas turbines with a total capacity of 700 megawatts (MW), Dewa said in a statement.
The first turbine will be operational by 1 January 2020, the second on 1 March 2020, and the third on 30 April 2020, Dewa said.
