Dubai: Oman's Octal Petrochemicals has set up the heavy equipment for its new PET resin plant, a key element in establishing Oman's place in the plastic packaging industry.

The Sapphire plant is part of a $300 million integrated PET resin and APET sheet complex in the Salalah Free Zone.
