Georgie and Thandi are the best of friends. They are looking for a forever home where they can continue to be together. They are very attached to one another, having been together since they were kittens.

Georgie is the beautiful tabby girl with the magnificent tail. She is strong and healthy now, as you can see in the photograph, but it wasn’t always this way. She was found two years ago, starving and thin at just a few months old. There was no microchip to show that she belonged to anyone and she had not been spayed. Frightened but friendly, Georgie appeared in a garage in the Al Raha Beach area, in Abu Dhabi, looking for food that was left regularly for the local stray cats.

As you can see from the photo, she has medium hair so she is a mixed breed. From her very poor and sad start in life, Georgie has blossomed into a loving lap cat who adores people. She has a mellow and calm personality and is great with other cats as well as with people.

Thandi is the other beautiful girl, with glossy fur and gorgeous green eyes. She was found at just three weeks old on the streets in the city and would never have survived. As a tiny kitten, she was placed in a foster home with two other kittens, but they were adopted, leaving Thandi alone.

Kittens love a playmate so she was then placed with Georgie and they have loved each other ever since. Thandi is a typical Arabian Mau, inquisitive, very clever and loves people. Like her best friend, she is also good with other cats.

These gorgeous girls have been in a foster home too long and just need a family to love them and keep them safe together for the rest of their lives. They would get along with dogs but they are not used to young children, so would perhaps be better in a home with older children or no children. Both girls have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and are approximately two years old.
