On a rare day when the price of almost every grocery item stayed in check, including the cost of most meat and seafood items, the cost of a kilo of fresh chicken and seabass fish edged up.

While the cost of a kilo of chicken edged up 30 fils to Dh13.3 from Dh13 earlier, the price of seabass fish rose nearly a dirham (90 fils) to Dh37.9 from Dh37 on Tuesday.
The cost of most other poultry and red meats have stayed in check, so if not opting for either chicken or seabass, try maybe going for the other non-vegetarian options instead - while prices stay in check.
