Video: 'Hardworking’ food delivery duck in the Philippines goes viral

A Filipino food delivery rider is going viral on Tiktok, all thanks to his “wingman”, his pet duck who he takes along with him while working.

The duck, dressed in a green ‘diaper’ uniform donning the food delivery company’s logo, tags along with its owner on every ride.

In a recent video posted on June 30, by TikTok user Dennis Caag, the duck is seen standing patiently next to its owner on the escalator at a mall, and then waddling close to him as he goes to pick up his orders.

The video has garnered over 3.3 million views, with over 300,000 likes and 6,000 comments.

Netizens could not stop gushing over how adorable the duck was. One user commented, “… this is so cute!!! I’m melting.”

While some other netizens said the delivery rider should be given a promotion for doing a good job at marketing the delivery company.

However, this isn’t the first video of the duo on TikTok. Over the past few months, netizens have been posting video sightings of the duo at different restaurants and malls, east of the Philippine capital Manila.

One video posted on June 25 by Tiktok user Nash Pelaez shows them interacting with the duck. The video titled ‘Met the famous Grab duck’ shows Nash greeting the duck.

Another video shows the duck entering a mall with its owner.
