Khalifa Foundation distributes aid in Lebanon’s Tripoli

Campaign targets 44,383 displaced Syrian and Lebanese families across Lebanon

Beirut: The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation (KF), in cooperation with the UAE Embassy in Lebanon, has started the distribution of aid to 5,000 displaced Syrian and Lebanese families in Tripoli, north of Lebanon.

The move is in line with the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

An official source at KF said the distribution of assistance, as per the directives of the wise leadership, is part of the UAE’s response to meet the needs of the displaced Syrians in Lebanon. The campaign targets 44,383 displaced Syrian and Lebanese families across Lebanon.

He also indicated that the campaign aims at providing assistance to them to overcome the severe cold wave that swept a number of Lebanese areas.
