Driver arrested after alleged wrong-way collision in Menoufia governorate

Dubai: Eight people were killed and four injured in a collision between two vehicles on the Sadat Kafr Dawood Road in Egypt’s Menoufia governorate, authorities said on Thursday.
According to local media reports, the crash occurred near the Tahrir junction when the two vehicles collided, with emergency services transferring the injured to hospital.
Police said a driver travelling in the wrong direction had been arrested on suspicion of causing the accident.

The incident was reported to security authorities, prompting the deployment of police and emergency teams to the scene.
