Dubai: A 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck Southern Iran on Sunday night, the National Centre of Meteorology said.

The tremor was recorded at a depth of 60.5 km in northern Algeria at 11.11pm UAE time, according to the NCM’s National Seismic Network.
