UAE Minister for State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar Gargash said in a tweet that Yemen’s crisis and war are a top priority “[and are] intrinsically linked to the future of the Arab Gulf’s security and stability, and are not a secondary issue. In this context, Lebanon cannot be a logistical or political hub for Al Houthi militia. Ignoring the issue will only exacerbate its repercussions."
Gargash also tweeted: “How is the disassociation policy — which Lebanon needs to restore its political and economic balance and its Arab and international position — consistent with Hassan Nasrallah’s reception of a delegation of Al Houthi rebels?! This is a question that we hope Lebanon will deal with.”
