Sana'a: Thirty-seven military and security officials were assassinated by Al Qaida in Yemen over the last three years, security sources said on Sunday.
However, because of the recent painful blows, Al Qaida is planning to move from Yemen to Somalia or Saudi Arabia, the sources claimed.
Meanwhile, tribal leaders reached an agreement to allow technical teams to repair an oil pipeline blown up in Mareb earlier on Saturday by gunmen angry over the government's crackdown on Al Qaida militants hiding in their neighbourhood.
The tribal leaders also agreed to be united against Al Qaida and anyone who harbours militants.
The sources said gunmen blew up the oil pipe line in retaliation for shelling their houses during the government's strikes on militant hideouts.
The Ministry of Interior, meanwhile, said the campaign would continue until the militants are arrested and brought to justice.
