Minister of Education gifted the young man with an acceptance letter to Saudi Electronic University
Dubai: A paralysed Saudi man has received his high school diploma at the age of 22, seven years after a tragic car accident left him paralysed seven years ago, Al Arabiya reported.
Abdul Rahman Maghawi, who has been on a ventilator ever since his accident, plans to study computer engineering at the Saudi Electronic University.
During his graduation, Maghawi was honoured by the Minister of Education Ahmad Al Issa, who praised the young man’s determination and spirit.
During his graduation speech, Maghawi said that others should learn from his example that anyone can achieve their goals no matter how difficult the circumstances.
