In a statement on its X account, the Royal Oman Police said the suspects stormed the shop, threatened and assaulted employees, and fled with gold jewellery valued at 150,000 Omani rials (about $390,000), along with cash.

The operation to track down the suspects was carried out by the Muscat and North Al Batinah police commands, in cooperation with the Directorate General of Criminal Investigations.
