Kuwait City: The ministers of the Kuwaiti cabinet submitted their resignation to the Prime Minister, Sabah Al Khaled Al Sabah, on Tuesday.

The ministers handed in their resignation in light of current developments regarding the relationship between the National Assembly (parliament) and the government, KUNA reported.

As the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Sabah Al Khaled must submit his government’s resignation to the Emir, Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Sabah.

The Cabinet of Ministers was formed less than a month ago on December 14. The new cabinet saw a grand reshuffling, as only six of the 16 ministers served in the previous cabinet.
