Video showing teacher beating student with axe goes viral

Srinagar: A video went viral on social media on Tuesday showing a teacher threatening a student with an axe in Jammu & Kashmir's Kupwara district.

The incident took place at a private school in Wagat village of Handwara area in Kupwara district.

Locals have demanded stern action against the delinquent teacher. The student shown in the video receiving corporal punishment from the unrelenting teacher is around nine years old.
