New Delhi: Delhi Police Wednesday recovered an abandoned red coloured motorcycle they believed was used for bombing of the Israeli embassy vehicle on Monday.

The motorcycle was recovered from Lado Sarai locality of South Delhi.

While the police said they were trying to search for the wonder of the motorcycle. The Police had detained five persons riding red-coloured motorcycles soon after the Monday afternoon blast in which wife of an Israeli diplomat, her driver and two others sustained injuries, they were let off after verification.

In a related development, the police managed to trace a motorcycle rider who was seen driving behind the embassy vehicle in a CCTV footage. Sources say the bike rider turned out to be courier delivery boy and had no role to play in the bombing. He was released after questioning by investigators.

The Delhi Police continue to grope in the dark as investigations have so far failed to make any headway. There is doubt that recovery of the abandoned motorcycle can also help much as it is suspected that it may have been stolen and abandoned after use/
