BEIJING: China’s President Xi Jinping held talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang as part of his two-day state visit, Chinese state media said on Thursday, without saying what they discussed.

Xi was greeted by Kim and other top officials on his arrival in the North Korean capital, becoming the first Chinese leader to visit the reclusive neighbouring country in 14 years.
