Denver: An American woman says her 31-year-old daughter is one of seven Muslims arrested this week in Ireland in an alleged plot to assassinate Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks.
Christine Mott said on Friday that she was told of the arrest of Jamie Paulin-Ramirez by the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies.
Irish authorities say the seven were arrested on Tuesday but did not identify them.
Those arrests came hours before US authorities unveiled a terror indictment against 46-year-old Colleen LaRose, also known as "Jihad Jane," that involved a plot against Vilks.
Mott said her daughter disappeared on September 11 and later told her family she went to Ireland with her 6-year-old son and married an Algerian whom she met online.
