Teenager stabs parents as they sleep

Dubai: A 16-year-old living in Jacksonville, US, has been arrested for stabbing his sleeping parents, as stated in a report by WJXT. It is an independent television station in Jacksonville that is affiliated with CBS, American commercial broadcast television network.

The Jacksonville sheriff’s office issued a press release to all the local news outlets stating that the victims were stabbed in the head and neck areas with a knife on Wednesday morning. Both victims woke up and fought back, which is when their son fled the scene.

The police report issued by them stated that he ran to a nearby church and when asked, he told the churchgoers that someone had broken into his family’s apartment and stabbed his parents. He was later found near his home by the authorities, and he confessed to his crime.

An ABC report confirms that the parents were not badly injured and are currently being treated at a local hospital for their injuries.
