Star couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt expecting twins

Cannes: Star couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are expecting twins, the Oscar-winning actress confirmed on Wednesday.

During an interview at the Cannes film festival promoting the new film Kung-Fu Panda, Jolie acknowledged that she was having twins after comic actor and co-star Jack Black made a reference to them.

"Yeah, yeah, we've confirmed that already," Jolie, 32, said, according to a transcript from the Access Hollywood interview. "Well, Jack's just confirmed it actually."

The twins will be the fifth and sixth child for Jolie and Pitt, 44, who together have three adopted children: 3-year-old daughter Zahara, 6-year-old son Maddox and 4-year-old son Pax.

They also have a biological daughter, 22-month-old Shiloh.
