Abu Dhabi: The UAE government will today announce another package of national projects, during an event in Abu Dhabi with the participation of ministers and senior officials.

Organised by the UAE Media Office, the announcement ceremony will be held at Qasr Al Watan at 12 noon in the presence of local, regional, and international media.

The second package of ‘Projects of the 50’ will include a new set of initiatives set by the UAE government to support its national strategies and build a sustainable future for its society and economy for the next five decades.

The UAE is celebrating its ‘Year of the 50th’ anniversary this year.

The new package of projects will also bring about qualitative leaps in the national economy, which is considered the government’s top priority, and the path towards ensuring a decent life for the UAE people and future generations.

What is the background?

A week ago, a number of UAE ministers announced the first set of bold strategic projects aimed at fostering the UAE’s new phase of growth – both domestically and internationally – and embarking on an ambitious growth strategy as the nation celebrates its golden jubilee and embarks on the 50 years to come.

The Projects of the 50 is a series of developmental and economic projects that will be rolled out throughout September, which aim to accelerate the UAE’s development, consolidate it into a comprehensive hub in all sectors, and establish its status as an ideal destination for talents and investors.
