Sharjah: UAE Writers Association has said it is backing the Egyptian Writers Union’s position against the terrorism being perpetuated by the Muslim Brotherhood Movement in Egypt.
The Association said today in a statement that it is against the attempts of the Brotherhood to manipulate the tolerant image of Egypt and moderation, adding that the second revolution led by millions of Egyptians on June 30, 2013, came about to rescue Egypt from the Brotherhood.
It reiterated its support to the Egyptian Writers Union, which has listed the Brotherhood in the terrorism list. The Association also commended the UAE’s unwavering support to Egypt.
